Convenient Location! We stayed at a place with a great location near the promenade. We went out for dinner and were happy to spot Burger King nearby; it was just a short walk away from where we were staying! 🍔.

It was truly a very nice stay during our visit, the hotel exceeded high expectations. Great location to the old town center, all was great.

The standard king room was great, it had a TV and all the comforts you could ask for! 🌟.

This is a luxurious hotel with outstanding hospitality and a fabulous continental breakfast.

The standard double room we stayed in was tidy and new-fashioned. We had a fantastic breakfast on the terrace.

The interior feels light and airy, carefully designed/colour co-ordinated with a great attention to detail. Although we arrived early, the room was ready. The room was comfortable, and we were offered coffee or juice on the terrace. Reception staff were helpful, and drove us to and from the location for secure parking.

Our ground-floor room looked out on the end of an apartment block and a road.

The room was very clean and you can enjoy the view from the terrace. The breakfast was excellent.

The location of the hotel was great, as it was not far from the center and within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and shops. the surrounding beaches were also easily accessible, either by walking or taking a short drive. the room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. the staff provided excellent service and were always ready to offer helpful advice. the breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options. the hotel had facilities such as a rooftop terrace and a jacuzzi to enjoy.

It would have been nice if there were more shade options on the terrace, such as canopies or umbrellas, to provide a comfortable and relaxing space to read and relax.

A most wonderful stay

In general, the entire staff went beyond their responsibilities to help us whenever we needed help. They did their job as if they enjoyed it. An example of how they went out of their way was when I asked for a condiment that they didn't provide, one of the staff brought me some the next day. Very nice and competent staff. I doubt we will see it matched on the rest of our trip.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel just a short walk from the charming old town. the staff at Relais Valle Dell'Idro were wonderful, providing us with great suggestions on where to eat in Otranto and recommending the best nearby beaches to visit. We also made use of their convenient car park for a small fee, which was only a 10-minute walk away. the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the city, and we especially enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from there. With comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and excellent service, we highly recommend this hotel. Cons: Can't fault anything about it! 😊.

I definitely loved the staff at the hotel. Alessandra was awesome!!! The breakfast and coffee were delicious. I loved that our room was clean and that we had solid blinds that made it completely dark...so we had the best sleep ever. I was definitely appreciative of the air conditioning unit that worked right on cue. The jacuzzi on the roof was awesome, the only thing is that you must make a reservation to use it and that it costs 10 euro per person per use. The location was nice, 5 minutes away from the center!! Go to the castle in the center if you like to eat and shop!!!

I did not like the shower. It did not want to keep the water in. Instead, it completely soaked the bathroom floor with every use. The television was a little hard to work and sometimes it would not work. I brought my laptop and rarely received internet...but the good thing is that there is a working computer in the lobby.

Nice location, close to the historical centre. The staff has some difficulties with English but was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were quite clean and comfortable. Highly recommended place for several day’s staying. Could be used as a base for one day’s trips to different places.
